Annual Guild Exhibition

2010 Exhibition

The annual exhibition of embroidery will be held from September 24 — September 26 2010 at Albert hall, Yarralumla. Open 10am – 4pm Friday, Saturday and Sunday

The Embroiderers’ Guild ACT has been established for over 40 years and is a non–profit organisation run by members for members. This is an annual event and a major fundraiser for the Guild and will feature a display of members’ work in a variety of techniques from traditional to the more contemporary.

There will also be demonstrations of a variety of different stitches in embroidery. A feature will be a display of all embroidery stitches with samples done by the expert embroiderers of the guild.

An extensive range of embroidered goods, also expertly made by members, will be for sale, and there will be many recycled items for sale at bargain prices.

Light lunches and morning and afternoon teas will be available serving a sample of handmade cakes and slices and as well as sandwiches.

Admission is $9 and $7 for pensioners.
