Meetings & Groups
All are welcome to come along to the Embroiderers' Hall, Gorman House Arts Centre
Corner of Currong and Batman Strees, Braddon. Both the weekly Monday meetings and the monthly meetings of the special interest groups are free for Guild members.
In accordance with its Constitution, the Guild is managed by a committee elected annually by members. For the current list of Guild Committee members see Contact us.
Monday Meetings
Monday morning from 10.00am to 1.00pm
Monday evening from 6.00pm to 9.30pm
Members bring along their current work and stitch, exchange ideas, chat and share a cuppa and, perhaps, borrow a book from the Guild's library.
Committee Meetings
The Committee meets on the 2nd Monday of each month, except January. If the 2nd Monday is a public holiday the Committee meet on the 3rd Monday of the month.
Special Interest Groups which meet monthly
There are many special interest groups which meet and welcome new participants. These groups all meet at the Guild rooms in Braddon.

Creative Group
1st Saturday

Design your own work, slash, burn, paint or otherwise manipulate fabric. |

Hardanger Group
2nd Saturday 1.30pm-4pm |
Members of the Hardanger group enjoy stitching this beautiful Norwegian counted thread embroidery. |

Machine Embroidery Group
2nd Sunday
10am-3.30pm |
For those who enjoy being creative with their sewing machines. Different techniques are explored. Members need to bring their own machines along. |

Paper Arts Group
2nd Tuesday
11am-3pm |
For members who want to discover more about paper craft, mixed media and card-making. |

Stay & Stitch Group
1st Monday 12.30pm-2pm |
After the morning meeting, members of this group bring lunch and stay on to stitch their own work or occasionally work on special projects. |

WOWies
(Workshop on the Web)
2nd Sun 12.30-2.30pm |
For members who participate in the Workshop on the Web computer program and wish to share their ideas. Those in this group must purchase this program. Visit Workshop on the Web for more information. |
